Mr. John H. Gilley IV was appointed as the president of St. Joseph High School in May 2019. Prior to becoming STJ's president, he was vice president and trust officer at First Victoria National Bank/Prosperity Bank from 2012-2019. He has also served as property management specialist at First Victoria National Bank from 2010-2012.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
One of the most rewarding things about working at STJ is the ability to be a part of the process of molding our students from children into adults. Seeing the growth and maturation in life and faith that occurs with our students is a blessing to witness. STJ has been doing this for more than 150 years and is part of the communal fabric that makes the town of Victoria a wonderful place to live and work.

Mr. John Brouilette is a native of Victoria and returned following his retirement from 21 years in the United States Army. He has an established background in developing leaders of high moral character. He brings with him significant experience in adult training and education and producing organizational cultures of excellence and achievement. He joined the staff at St. Joseph High School in 2022 as the Dean of Students.

Mrs. Terese Arnecke has seven years of experience in public accounting, three years as a bank officer at First Victoria National Bank and six years as a lead accountant in private industry. She has been the chief financial officer at St. Joseph High School since 2013.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
Working at STJ is very upbeat and I appreciate that it is family oriented.

Coach James Duprie began his teaching and coaching career in 1997. Duprie has coached in a number of districts, most recently Rockport-Fulton, Woodsboro, Runge, and Victoria West High School. Throughout his career he has coached semi-final and state tournament appearances in football, baseball, track, golf, and powerlifting. He was named STJ Athletic Director and Head Football Coach in June 2020. He also coaches boys track and teaches physical education and other elective courses.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
I like working with the student athletes at St. Joseph and helping them achieve their potential in both the classroom and on the field.

Mrs. Ann Brogger started working at VISD as a paraprofessional in 1998 while attending college. She went on to teach computers, speech and video technology at Memorial High School senior campus until the end of 2004. At that time, she began working as a tutor and adjunct instructor at Victoria College. She then served as director of the Student Services Department at Victoria College. She has been the counselor at St. Joseph High School since 2012.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
I love working at St. Joseph High School because it does not feel like a job. The students become an important part of our lives. I feel like I truly have the opportunity to help impact the lives of the wonderful young people I work with. To me, my position carries with it the ultimate reward!

Mrs. Jennifer Carson graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1991. In 2012 she joined the STJ staff as a member of the Advancement team. She moved to her position as registrar in 2018.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
St. Joseph High School was an integral part in shaping the person I am today. I am proud to be a part of the Flyer family and enjoy my role supporting STJ's mission.

Mrs. Jen Korinek has worked as a recruiter and in public relations for TEKsystems in Austin, and has taught 5th grade at VISD. She began working at St. Joseph High School as the Admissions Director in 2011.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
St. Joseph High School provides a nurturing, safe and challenging environment to work in for students to learn and grow. By following Catholic principles and focusing on morals and values, St. Joseph guides its students and faculty and fosters mutual respect between the two. I am blessed to be a part of the St. Joseph family.

Mrs. Shandee Harrell has served as the Director of Development at Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma, and Director of Communications and Education for several local, state and national associations throughout her career. She started working at St. Joseph High School in July 2006.
What do you like about working at St. Joseph High School?
STJ has a great family atmosphere for students, faculty and staff. I appreciate this and believe it is one of the greatest assets of our learning community. I also appreciate that STJ provides families an opportunity to get a quality education in a safe environment.

Mr. Michael Boyle started teaching in 1966 at St. Joseph High School. From 1968 to 1972 he taught at Colegio Santa Maria in Lima, Peru. Besides learning Spanish on the job in Peru, he has studied Spanish at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, and in language schools in Lima and Cochabamaba, Bolivia. During 1973 and 1974, he taught at Mount Sacred Boys' School in San Antonio and studied for his Master's degree in English from St. Mary's University. In 1975, he returned to St. Joseph High School and has been working here ever since. During the summers between 1976 and 1986, he traveled extensively through Europe, especially in Spain and France, and has taken summer French language courses in France, Switzerland and Canada. He worked for many years as a teacher at STJ and also served as assistant principal in charge of discipline from 1979 to 1989. He has been the STJ facilities director since 2020.
