Jordan Schott

Master of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas in Biotechnology (2014)
Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in Nutritional Science (2008)

Mr. Jordan Schott has several years of graduate lab research experience in gene expression and protein purification. He has also taught college undergraduate biology and graduate biotechnology labs, as well as serving as the head TA for biochemistry courses while in graduate school. Mr. Schott student-taught IB Biology for juniors and seniors at Plano East Senior High School. He joined the Science faculty at STJ in 2017. 

What do you like about teaching at St. Joseph High School?
Serving on the faculty of STJ allows me to challenge my students to think critically while also fostering a strong sense of community. I also believe teaching the life sciences here is a great privilege because guiding our students to a better understanding of the natural world is central to their development.
