Sister M. Clare Underbrink has years of experience in teaching, coaching, youth ministry, music ministry and early childhood through adult education. She has worked in Dallas (Skyline), Victoria (Nazareth Academy and STJ), and Hallettsville (Sacred Heart). Sister is a member of the leadership team of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament Sisters of Victoria, Texas. 

What do you like about teaching at St. Joseph High School? 
I am passionate about teaching, especially theology. Being able to share something I love with students and meet them on a level much deeper than academic knowledge is life-giving both for me and for my students. Meeting students wherever they are in their faith walk is awe-inspiring: awakening faith that has lain dormant for some time, accompanying and guiding students as they struggle with questions about the faith they inherited, enhancing the already vibrant faith of others, or instilling an appreciation and respect for faith in those who claim to have no faith at all.
